Forever Dental is a team of amazing general dentists, dental assistants, financial coordinators, and hygienists who love to SMOVE (smile and move). We have locations in Berwyn and Chicago. Our mission is to help others live better lives by providing compassionate care in a safe and comfortable environment. We see patients of all ages and perform most phases of general dentistry.
Who Do We Need?
We are seeking a motivated, bilingual (Spanish speaking) Dental Assistant to join our compassionate, family-friendly office on the SW side of Chicago. The ideal candidate is cross-trained, or willing to be cross-trained, between the front and back office. The ideal candidate is:
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently as well as with a team.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional, with a great attitude to help others however they can.
- Comfortable talking to people all day, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experienced in a dental office setting (1+ year required).
- Familiar with Dentrix.
- Available 2 evenings a week until 7 or 7:30pm, and 1-2 Saturdays per month from 8am to 1:30pm.
- Coronal polishing and sealant certified is a plus.
Job Description
- Assist chairside during procedures.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and perform routine maintenance on dental equipment.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA standards.
- Confirm and set up patient appointments, with follow-up to schedule future visits.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and the front office team to help the day run smoothly.
- Educate patients on procedures and oral health, and help keep them comfortable during treatment.
- Support front desk duties as needed.
- Work independently on projects that help improve and grow the practice.
Other Job Details
- Position is for 30-35 hours per week, full-time or part-time available.
- Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.
